Biography

Chelsea Stewart has been creative from the beginning, starting ballet at age 3 and preferring craft supplies over toys. Growing up in rural Iowa fostered her resourcefulness and comfort with individuality as a biracial child in a primarily Caucasian town. Her experience working in her family's woodworking and antique restoration business instilled an appreciation for quality craftsmanship. Chelsea attributes her straightforward approach to her rustbelt roots and Midwestern work ethic. She is also proud of her 15 years of experience in hospitality and event coordination.

She holds multiple creative degrees, including an Interior Design Associates of Science from Dakota County Technical College (2022), a Bachelor's in Studio Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2018), and a Certificate in Event Coordination and an Associate of Arts from Front Range Community College (2013).

Now a professional interior designer, her fine arts background informs her work, treating spaces much like paintings, considering composition, harmony, variety, and color theory.

Chelsea resides in Minneapolis, MN with her husband, Mark, and their dog, Winston. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, baking, scary movies, cooking, and searching through thrift store jungles.
